Fire Company to assist with National Bike Race

** TRAFFIC ALERT **

The fire company along with members of the Gibraltar Fire Department will assist township police and race officials on Sunday the 24th with a national bike race being held in Robeson Township. The race times are approximately 7:00am to 4:00pm. The race is being run by the USA Cycling and the Pennsylvania Cycling Association. The race route will be a 13.2-mile "Figure 8" double loop along White Bear, Rock Hollow, Cocalico, Buck Hollow and Zion roads. The start/finish point will be at the Robeson Elementary Center on White Bear Road. Fire department members, the Robeson Twp police department and race officials will assist with traffic control at all intersections along the race route, along with the rolling road block that will proceed the riders. If you live in or will be traveling through the area during the time of the race, please watch for riders on all of these roads at any time and obey any direction given by the official posted at an intersection.
